UNHEARD 2026: Interactive Sound & Wi-Fi Workshop w/ Stelios Manousakis

A workshop and seminar on feedback, musical cybernetics and composing with systems. Feedback—diverting the output of a process back into its input—is a very versatile concept and creative tool. Many intricate natural and social phenomena can be modelled with feedback, as it enables complex and organic worlds to emerge through simple setups and interactions. Feedback is also an excellent and intuitive tool for crafting captivatingly dynamic sounds, behaviors, and systems, and designing artworks that are autonomous, interactive, reactive, or participatory. The workshop is a systematic introduction into ‘the art and science of the black box’: how to design such systems, how to control them, and how to deploy them to create dialogues between maker, performer, system, audience, environment.

這場工作坊與研討會聚焦於聲音回授、音樂控制論與系統作曲。聲音回授是將音頻系統的輸出重新導向至輸入，這是一個極具彈性的概念與聲音創作工具。許多複雜的自然與社會現象均可透過回授來建模，因為它能以簡單的設定與互動，催生複雜而有機的聲音世界。聲音回授亦是創造動態聲響、聲音行為與聲響系統的直觀工具，適用於設計自主、互動、回應或參與式的聲音藝術作品。工作坊將系統性地介紹「黑箱的藝術與科學」，內容包括如何設計這類聲響系統、如何控制它們，以及如何運用它們來建立創作者、表演者、系統、觀眾與環境之間的聲響對話。
