Join us at the Blake Planetarium for an immersive journey into one of Earth's most mysterious worlds, followed by an exploration of the stars and constellations visible in the September night sky.

Our feature presentation, Fungi: Web of Life, takes audiences into a remarkable hidden world that exists between the familiar kingdoms of plants and animals.  Fungi are all around us, yet much of their story remains a mystery.  Through stunning fulldome imagery, discover how fungi connect living things, support ecosystems, recycle nutrients, and play an essential role in the web of life on Earth.

From the smallest organisms to entire ecosystems, Fungi: Web of Life reveals connections that are easy to overlook and invites us to see our planet in a whole new way.  What appears to be a world of individual organisms is actually a complex network of relationships, and fungi are at the heart of many of them.

Following the feature, step outside our planet and explore the autumn night sky with Seasonal Stargazing.  Discover prominent stars and constellations visible during early fall, learn how to recognize some of the sky's most familiar patterns, and find out what's currently happening overhead.  You'll also learn how to use a simple partial-sky star map, giving you the tools to continue exploring the night sky on your own.

From the hidden networks beneath our feet to the vast universe above our heads, this program invites you to look closer and discover the connections that surround us every day.

TICKETS ARE SOLD ONLINE ONLY. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.

Please note that we are a ticketless venue. When you buy your ticket online, you are immediately added to our attendee list, so there is no need to print your ticket or present an e-ticket. You can simply check in with your name and a smile.
