Two-wheel Tractor Operation Workshop

About this Event

Thanks to a grant from the Tobacco Trust Fund of NC, Watauga Cooperative Extension can offer High Country farmers and market gardeners the opportunity to rent tillage and cover crop equipment. Attending this workshop is the first step for area farmers to become eligible to rent this euipment. In the 3-hour session, we will go over the mechanics of safe operation, implement changes, proper handling, and related matters. Each workshop is limited to six participants to insure each attendee gets all their questions answered along with the chance at hands-on tractor time.

Park in the Ag Conference Center / Food Hub parking lot. The workshop itself will be held at the new garage in Extension's fenced equipment lot just uphill from the parking lot.
