Class Dates: Sundays March 22 & 29th from 1-4pm

Activity Description: Express your creative side with our Expanding the Basics Acrylic Painting Workshop. Students will receive step-by-step instruction through the painting process from an experienced instructor. In this class, students will learn the value of vibrant colors to create a warm sun-kissed glow across the water and the entire painting, creating a warm feeling that allows the viewer to feel as if they are standing on the beach. Use of color plays an important role in determining how a painting feels. Join artist Stephen Whitman as he teaches you how to create warmth in your painting.

This painting is detailed and requires two sessions to complete. Each session is approximately 3 hours long but may take longer if needed. This is a total of approximately 6 hours of instruction over the course of the workshop.

More Information: This is considered a level 2 beginner class. This level is perfect for beginner level painters wishing to advance and build upon what we teach in our beginner level paint classes. The student will learn the fundamentals of painting and color blending and the basic skills needed to create an amazing painting, guided by an experienced artist. This class expands on the fundamentals taught in our Back to the Basics Level 1 classes, allowing the students to grow their talents and create a beautiful piece of art. We teach you to take an idea and make it your own by using your creativity.
