Activity Name: Watercolor Painting Course: The Colors of SummerThis course is Part Three of Four of our '12-Week Colors of the Four Seasons' course for students who are unable to attend the full twelve weeks.
Recommended Ages: Teen through adult
Class Dates: Fridays March 6, 13 & 20th (3 sessions)
Time: 11am-2pm. Class duration may vary from week to week depending on project.
Activity Description: Join us for this unique and exciting 3-week watercolor painting course - The Colors of Summer. In this course, we will approach color theory in a fun and simple way. We will teach you to see color through the lens of the way light dances across the canvas. We will teach you how to see the light and the color it casts and how to paint the vivid colors of summer at the beach. Learning color theory does not have to be hard; we will approach it one step at a time.
This course is appropriate for beginners and all levels interested in learning the fundamentals of color theory and watercolor painting. Throughout the course, an experienced instructor will guide students step-by-step through the painting process as they paint a beautiful beach scene.
This workshop takes place once every week for three weeks. Each session is approximately 3 hours long but may take longer if needed. This is a total of 9 hours of instruction over the course of the workshop. Students must register at least 24 hours in advance of the first class date.
Price: $180 per person for non-members or $155 for members. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
