Designed both as a comprehensive prep for competitors and as a deep dive for social dancers, this workshop bridges the gap between simply executing patterns and expressing yourself through dance.
What We’ll Cover:
• Timing: Play with timing variations and texture
• Technique: Investigate body mechanics, balance and efficient movement
• Teamwork & Connection: Enhance communication and lead-follow connection
• Showmanship: Explore projecting confidence and presence to an audience
• Musicality & Styling: Learn to phrase and add personal flair to your dance
Prerequisites: Intended for improver-level dancers. Attendees should meet at least one of the following criteria:
• Completion of a previous Inspira 4-Week Two-Step series (101 or 102)
• Ability to execute basic patterns and transition in/out of core positions (sweetheart, cuddle, skaters, checks, dips, and couples turns) without losing timing.
📍 Ballston Quarter – 4238 Wilson Blvd, Suite 2220, Arlington (Level 2)
🚗 Paid garage $1 for three hours + directly connected to the metro
