The 8th grade will be holding a "Twisted Trivia" night as a new fundraiser for their class trip at the Olde Factory Warehouse on Saturday, January 31st. The night will start with a happy hour from 5pm to 6pm. Pizza will be served at 6pm. Trivia will begin at 6:30pm.
The cost for an 8-person table is $200 (which equates to $25 / person). This gets you 8 seats at the table, pizza for dinner, snacks and your first drink free. All proceeds go to the class trip. Beverages (water, pop, beer, wine and liquor/mixed drinks) will be available for purchase.
The trivia will consist of 5 rounds of 10 questions each. There will be several twists available. The first "twist" will be that you will have a mulligan cup available for purchase. This will provide your team with replacement questions should you not know the answer to the question asked. It can be used on every question in every round, but it can only be used once per question. The other twists will be revealed that evening...
There will also be options to purchase sabotages against other teams. This could be something small such as having to write all of your answers with a giant marker up to penalty points. You will also have the opportunity to earn points through extra games (think minute-to-win-it games) at various points, especially between rounds.
There will be 2 goals for the evening... to have a blast and to raise money for the trip. Children are welcome to join you (under 10 - $6 each, over 10 - $10 each), there is a "game room" to help entertain them, but to clarify, there will be no supervision provided. You'll need to check on them from time to time. Pizza will be available for purchase for your children, but to make sure we have enough, please register them when you sign up.
