Introduction to Fine Art

THIS IS A THREE WEEK SESSION: January 7th, 14th, and 21st from 6:00 -8:30 pm.

Interested in art but not sure where to begin? Think art sounds fun but can't draw a stick figure? This class is for you! In this three week session, we will combine elements of drawing and painting to learn the fundamentals of art. This class will teach formal elements of art, but the most important take away will be how to find joy and fun in a regular art practice! There is no pressure to create something "good!"

Students will receive a sketchbook to continue practicing what they've learned in mini at home exercises during the course.

All materials needed for this class will be provided. Students should plan to attend all three dates to get the most out of the class. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to get settled. We will start promptly at 6:00 pm.
