TV Models (often performing as Bobby Oakes & the TV Models) are a Providence–Boston rock ’n’ roll outfit blending punk roots with a gritty garage rock and Americana sound. Formed in 2023, the band unites singer-songwriter Bobby Oakes with the established energy of a Providence-based trio, merging sharp songwriting with a raw, live-band punch. Their music channels a melodic, retro-leaning sixties vibe driven by jangling 12-string guitars, mixing originals with eclectic covers spanning classic rock, punk, and pop icons.
High Planes is a messy blend of folk, country and indie rock. Sometimes described as "Anxiety Folk," High Planes emphasizes rich vocal harmonies in its broad "repertoire that varies from beautiful, quiet finger-picked pieces to rolling county songs."

On guitar, Don Sanders brings a mix of jangling chords and smooth rock‑and‑roll licks. Over on the keys, Evan Williams lifts the tunes with catchy lines and charm.
