Trauma-Sensitive Yin Yoga

Tuesday's 11:15 – 12:15 PM EDT

In this all levels class, both beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome. We hold each pose for approximately 5-7 minutes. This is deeply intentional and designed to gently support and nourish the fascia, the connective tissue that weaves through and communicates within the entire body.

Through long held, supported postures, we create space for the body to soften, release stored tension, improve mobility, and restore balance from the inside out. This slower pace allows you to truly settle in, listen, and connect on a deeper level.

You are encouraged to bring any props that will support your comfort such as blocks, blankets, pillows, a bolster, or even your journal. This is your space to feel safe, supported, and at ease.

This practice can open the door to releasing stored emotions and trauma held within the body. Move gently, breathe deeply, and honor whatever arises with compassion and grace.

Whether you’re brand new or simply craving a slower, more intentional practice, this class meets you exactly where you are.

• Small towel (optional)

Comfortable clothing you can move and stretch in freely. Bare feet are recommended for practice.
