About this Event
The Trans Negativity symposium gathers scholars and artists who take seriously the bleak, dissociative, and even hopeless dimensions of trans experience, to deepen our collective capacity to think and feel through the impasses of the present.
Drawing on debates that have shaped queer theory for over two decades, this symposium joins and presents ongoing conversations that critically reconsider trans negativity’s potentialities and limitations.
