What is yoga really for? Beyond the poses, yoga offers powerful tools for healing, transformation, and living with greater awareness, resilience, and purpose.
Join Carlos Pomeda and Christina Sell for a special free online summit exploring the deeper meaning and transformative power of yoga—and offering a glimpse into the teachings, practices, and vision at the heart of the Yoga Conference SF, May 13–16, 2027.
Discover how movement, breath, meditation, philosophy, and embodied practice can help us move beyond automatic patterns and meet life with greater clarity, courage, and compassion. Carlos Pomeda will explore the Tantric vision of our profound interconnectedness with life, while Christina Sell will offer insights from the Anusara Yoga Teacher Training, revealing how intelligent alignment and embodied awareness can become powerful pathways for transformation.
At the heart of this summit is a powerful question: What is the ripple effect of your practice?
Every time we become more patient, present, courageous, or compassionate, those qualities can influence the people around us. The way we breathe, speak, listen, respond, and act affects our families, students, workplaces, communities, and the wider world. Personal transformation is never entirely personal.
Yoga invites us to move from asking only, “What do I get from my practice?” to also asking, “What do I bring back into the world?” This is the movement from me to we—from personal well-being toward a deeper recognition that our healing, awareness, and actions can contribute to collective well-being. This summit explores how yoga can help us bring our deepest values into daily life. How can we remember our practice in difficult conversations? Can we pause before reacting? Can we listen more deeply? Can we act from clarity and compassion rather than fear or habit?
Ultimately, yoga invites us to consider not only how we want to feel, but how we want to live.
What kind of ripple effect do you want your life to have? What values do you want to embody? What do you want people to experience because you were here? What legacy are you creating through the choices you make every day?
Join us for an inspiring exploration of how the ancient practices and wisdom of yoga can help us become more fully alive—and how the transformation we experience within ourselves can become a source of healing, wisdom, and love in action in the world around us.
This summit offers a meaningful introduction to the larger exploration at the Yoga Conference SF 2027, where we will gather to explore how yoga can help us heal ourselves, deepen our connection with one another, and participate more consciously and compassionately in the world.
