WE'LL ANNOUNCE ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA, WHEN SIGNUPS ARE AVAILABLE.Warren leads this Sloyd intermediate course - spend the finishing your own wooden utensil. Learn about sanding and burnishing, oil finishes, painting with acrylic and food safe milk paints.
This is an intermediate class, and requires you to bring your own wood carving tools. The hook and straight carving knives provided in Starting Sloyd should be everything you need.
Minimum age: 16 (adult must be present for minors). Feel free to reach out to Warren to see if your kid will be a good fit.
This is a pay what you can event, with limited seats - there WILL be waitlists. This would normally be a $70+ workshop, but we encourage you to give what you are able to (even if that's $0). Our grant with Berea College allows us to do what we can to make these events as accessible as possible.
Our event system does not allow for sliding scale pricing - please pay through our Paypal account (credit cards accepted) or through cash at the door.
We WILL be reaching out as the event approaches to make sure you can still attend, if you've signed up.
