Essential Email Marketing for Creatives

In this workshop, Carla Gover will introduce you to WHY you should have an email list as a creative entrepreneur, HOW to set one up and automate it so it can work for you while you...you know...play music and gigs, and WHAT you should include in your email welcome sequence to turn casual fans into SUPERFANS.
It’s all about cultivating relationships, serving others with your talents and what you do best (which NOBODY else can do!), and creating connections that will sustain your career through every season!

Workshop 5-6:30pm followed by Open Mic 7-10pm.

Carla Gover is an Appalachian musician and dancer from Letcher County, currently living in Lexington. Carla has been in the trenches as a full-time self-employed artist for 30 years, and a big part of the reason why she been able to make it is that she had an email list since 1999. Carla has toured all over the world, made 8 self-released albums (2 of them went to #1 on the Folk Charts), collaborated with diverse artists, had her songs covered by other bands and included in soundtracks and movies, and crowdfunded almost every project she has ever done. Carla loves helping other creative folks learn how to get paid for sharing their talents with the world. Carla has 3 kids and loves strong black tea, M**der mysteries, and old banjos.
