Tracing the Landscape
About this Event
Date: July 30, 2026
Time: 4 - 6p.m.

This workshop introduces close sensing as a way of paying attention to the environment through movement, observation, and drawing. Through guided outdoor exercises, participants will explore their surroundings and reflect on their connection to the natural world.
Using drawing and simple mapping exercises, participants will record multisensory experiences and build layers of observation over time. If time allows, the workshop may conclude with collaborative movement experiments or a collective installation.
For ages 16 and older. Those under age 16 may attend accompanied by an adult.
