Let us celebrate the undying spirit of Kolkata and our freedom. Kolkata Explorers ( a division of Green Step Tourism ) has curated an evening tour to show you the vestiges of the Empire which once made Calcutta their base. The tour will be a guided trip by a Vehicle. Walking will be involved in places where the car is not allowed.
This tour has been curated specially on this day to mark the date of the very first historic batch of Indian indentured workers who departed from the Port of Calcutta on September 15, 1834, marking the official beginning of a global migration system.
WE WILL PROVIDE:
Tea and Breakfast
Entry ticket for Indians (Foreigners need to pay us in addition on spot)
All transfers from starting point to return to same place by AC Vehicle
Tea and snacks at The Dockyard Co. (A riverside restaurant at Indenture Memorial Ghat)
A guided tour of all the places
PLEASE CARRY YOUR OWN DRINKING WATER IN REUSABLE CONTAINERS AS WE WANT TO REDUCE THE USAGE OF SINGLE USE PLASTICS
Imp: Please be informed that entry inside PTS and Lascar memorial is not allowed. But you can have a good view at these places from outside.
