TMU Annual Conference 2026

We are very excited to announce that the TMU annual conference 2026 will be held at the beautiful Durham University. This event is open to TMU members only and registration is free.

The conference will take place in the Calman Learning Centre, University of Durham on Thursday the 26th of March and the morning of Friday the 27th. The conference meal will be held on Thursday evening at Hatfield College and, as usual, is free to TMU members. Bookings for the evening meal will be taken separately, nearer to the event.

There will be limited accommodation available at Collingwood College at a very reasonable price on a B&B basis, again more information will be circulated shortly.

For those arriving in Durham on the Wednesday, we will arrange an informal social gathering in the evening.

As ever, this conference provides a fantastic opportunity for technical managers to meet, network, share knowledge and expertise, and interact with a range of suppliers and exhibitors. This conference will address many current sector developments through a combination of talks and workshops, with topics including the ITSS, navigating change, leadership, and sustainability. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear sector updates and to consider how we, as technical managers, can enable and influence change in our own institutions and wider networks.
