Tkaronto Open IV - Women's Jingle Dress: Old Style vs Contemporary.

Tkaronto Open is a celebration of Indigenous culture and beauty, presenting the highest level of showmanship among Indigenous dancers from across Turtle Island. This Pow Wow-style competition will feature Women’s Jingle Dress: Old Style vs Contemporary. Come celebrate with us in the West Wing at Toronto’s Union Station, in the heart of the city.

Registration for contestants: $25.00 + $2.96 CAD service fees*

*Registration fee is non-refundable and all proceeds will be donated to .

*Contestants must be 15+ to register.

!!Participants will be able to select their category (Old Style / Contemporary) AFTER registering and paying the registration fee!!

Participants can register online until the start of the competition (1:00 PM on September 26). On-site in person registrations will also be possible on September 26 (from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM) at Union.

Doors (and registrations) will open at 11:00 AM and the competition will start at 1:00 PM.

WOMEN’S JINGLE DRESS: OLD STYLE VS CONTEMPORARY

The best of Old Style and the best of Contemporary Jingle Dress contestant will compete for the first place in the finale.

FIRST PLACE: $1,500.00 Canadian Dollars

2nd place: $800 CAD / 3rd place: $600 CAD / 4th place: $400 CAD
