Raphaël Barontini: Konvwa libèté Parade
About this Event
Co-presented with the Toronto Caribbean Carnival, Hart House, and the Art Museum, Barontini brings a celebratory, carnival-style street parade to the U of T campus. Blending percussion, indigo costumes, banners, and flags, this parade honors historical figures of anti-enslavement resistance while celebrating contemporary Caribbean traditions of emancipation.
Co-presented with Toronto Caribbean Carnival, Hart House, and the Art Museum at University of Toronto.
Accessiblity
This performance takes place at Hart House Circle and follows a barrier-free route that is wheelchair accessible throughout the duration of the performance. Chairs will be available on site if needed. Hart House offers barrier-free entrances, accessible washrooms, and elevator access throughout the building.
