Event Details

Christopher Murphy, author, teacher, and founder of Three Awakenings, returns to NYC as part of his 2026 Northeast teaching tour. This free weekend workshop will include lectures, guided instruction, and Q&A, exploring inner alchemy, prayer, and meditation—three core paths found across many spiritual traditions. Drawing on teachings from around the world, this weekend offers practical and profound guidance for serious householder aspirants seeking depth in their spiritual practice.

Christopher is a knowledgeable and dedicated teacher with over two decades of training under the guidance of authentic Yogic, Taoist, Sufi, and Buddhist masters. Supported by strong and living lineages, he has offered hundreds of students clear and grounded instruction for developing their spiritual path. In 2024, he privately published the book Three Awakenings: Mind, Energy & Deity, which details practices for core spiritual development. He is currently working on another book, The Consensus of the Sages.

Anyone is welcome to this workshop. Attending this event is a prerequisite for new students to attend the schoolwide Three Awakenings Annual Retreat in October 2026.

Location

This year, the workshop will take place at the (formerly known as Serenity Retreat Center), at 243 West 30th St., 10th Floor, between 7th and 8th Ave. The center is a peaceful refuge in the heart of the city, close to Penn Station and Herald Square, and only a few blocks from the A, C, E, B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, W, and 1 trains.

Our aim is, as always, that as many students as possible can access these spiritual teachings without being limited by financial obstacles. Therefore, we are happy to offer this event entirely free of charge. Donations to support these efforts are deeply appreciated, and can be offered in person or ahead of the event by .
