Nau mai, haere mai, come along to our Thursday evening gardening session. It's kōanga/spring and we need all the help we can get to get our māra kai absolutely pumping.
Usual activities include:
Sowing seeds & planting seedlings
Weeding and mulching
Composting and applying biological soil health brews
Harvesting and processing huawhenua/vegetables to share
In exhange for your time and labour you're welcome to take home a share of the kai - we reckon it's a pretty solid way to get cheap but nutritious organic veggies in your life.
All ages and stages welcome. Tools and equipment provided - just bring something comfortable to wear and work in.
The māra kai is contagiously joyful. All are welcome. Mauri ora!
