The Lion's Gate is an annual window tied to Leo season and the rising of Sirius, the star ancient Egyptians watched for each year because its return meant the Nile would flood and a new year would begin. This year's portal opens on the heels of a full moon in Aquarius and builds toward its peak on 8/8 — a date that carries extra weight in 2026, since 26 reduces to 8 in numerology, making 8/8/26 read as 888, a triple expression of infinity, balance, and flow. The portal then closes into a total solar eclipse in Leo on August 12, giving the whole season a natural arc: illuminate, build, complete.
