Health is not complicated. It is three things.

You were handed a list of forty things. Powder in the morning. Patch at night. Collagen, magnesium, cold plunges, one more supplement. You bought most of it, and it's sitting in a drawer right now.

This afternoon is for women over 50 who are done with the list. It's a simpler way to look at your health through menopause and midlife, one that has been tried and tested for centuries. We're going back to basics.

My West African elders knew this. When I went looking, in the research and in conversations with East Asian women my age, the same three things came back. I'll name all three on Sunday.

This is not a lecture.
Not one slide. Not one row of chairs facing forward. It's an afternoon of interaction, learning and a lot of fun:

• Music, plus food and drinks (included)
• A full hour with a physician. Hormones, weight, sleep, bone, and the thing your own doctor waved off in a seven-minute visit. Questions go in a bowl with no names on them, so every woman leaves with the answer.
