The Elephant Discovery Center will once again host a variety of educational and entertaining events that are free and open to all ages, on the 'Third Saturday' of each month through December 2026. Events will include storytelling, enrichment and craft-making, as well as the opportunity to meet The Sanctuary’s dedicated elephant Vet and Care Staff to gain insight into the daily care routines and behind-the-scenes operations at The Elephant Sanctuary.
Join us on August 15th at 11 a.m. at The Discovery Center in downtown Hohenwald to become a citizen scientist! Learn more about identifying native plants in our Outdoor Classroom, and jot them down in a nature journal.
This event is free and perfect for the whole family—folks of all ages can take part.
When: August 15 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM CDT
