Think Green Thursday: Fruit Tree Workshop

Dr. Mike Parker, Fruit and Nut Tree Specialist at NC State University will demonstrate how to properly train and prune apple and peach trees to get the best production from each type of tree. Bring your pruning questions to this Think Green Thursday special event!

The class and demonstration will be held Thursday, January 30th from 10AM to noon at Buster Sykes Demonstration Farm: 2430 Turner Road Mebane, NC. Bring your pruning questions to this Think Green Thursday special event!

Registration is required and the class fee($15) can be paid online or via cash(EXACT CHANGE ONLY) or check to be submitted the day of the event. Checks should be made out to Alamance County. Class fees go towards maintaining our orchard to be able to host classes such as these. Refunds are on a case by case basis and must be requested at least 2 days before the event.
