Think Green Thursday: Blackberry and Raspberry Workshop

Dr. Gina Fernandez, Small Fruits Specialist at NC State University, will demonstrate how to properly maintain blackberries and other small fruits to get the best production. Bring your pruning questions to this Think Green Thursday special event!

The class and demonstration will be held Thursday, February 13th from 10AM to noon at Buster Sykes Demonstration Farm: 2430 Turner Road Mebane, NC 27302.

Registration is required and the class fee($15) can be paid online or via cash(EXACT CHANGE ONLY) or check to be submitted the day of the event. Checks should be made out to Alamance County. Class fees go towards maintaining our orchard to be able to host classes such as these. Refunds are on a case by case basis and must be requested at least 2 days before the event.
