Think Green Thursday: Blueberry School

This workshop includes in-depth classroom work from 1 - 2:30 p.m. , then a demonstration in the orchard doing some hands-on pruning. Extension Blueberry Specialist Bill Cline will share his expertise on proper site selection and soil preparation, variety selection, proper pruning and care of this popular super fruit.

The class and demonstration will be held Thursday, March 6th from 1PM to 3PM at Buster Sykes Demonstration Farm: 2430 Turner Road Mebane, NC 27302.

Registration is required and the class fee($15) can be paid online or via cash(EXACT CHANGE ONLY) or check to be submitted the day of the event. Checks should be made out to Alamance County. Class fees go towards maintaining our orchard to be able to host classes such as these. Refunds are on a case by case basis and must be requested at least 2 days before the event.
