Therapeutic Tummy Time is a 3-week series which will be held from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Wednesday March 4th, 18th, and 25th.
This class uses the Tummy Time! Method as taught by Michelle Emanuel. Tummy time is an integral part of infant development that can be be very challenging to fit into the day, especially when your little one might not enjoy this position. Regardless of your child liking or not liking tummy time, this class is for YOU. This class provides you with a community of supportive and empowering moms to hang out with while also learning new skills. Therapeutic Tummy Time combines knowledge about infant development, neurological development, full body movement patterns, and vestibular/proprioceptive development to teach you how to most optimally utilize tummy time, AND how to enjoy it! We teach you an 8-step approach to transitioning your little one into and out of tummy time and how to support them when they might be struggling. Tummy time is so much more than just a box to check off the list - come learn why and also how to make this position enjoyable and a staple of your playtime activities!
