The Zen Chef - 6/25/2026 - 7/16/2026

A fun, hands on, 4-week intro to cooking and baking and touches on mindfulness, problem solving, regulation skills, teamwork, building confidence and growth mindset. Over the course of the group, the difficulty of the recipes will increase from beginner level to intermediate level recipes allowing for practice with above mentioned skills. This group would be ideal for any child with an interest in cooking and/or baking.

No cooking ability is required.

Grades: Entering 6-9 Day: Thursday Dates: 6/25/2026 - 7/16/2026 Time: 4:30 - 6:00
Weeks: 4 Fee: $20 R* / $50 NR (Non-Resident) Location: Youth & Family Services, 100 S. Greenleaf St, Gurnee, IL 60031.
