About this Event
If you attended The Food For All Summit back in January, you don't want to miss this special advocacy event! If you weren't there, no worries—we’ll get you up to speed and ready to advocate to lawmakers on nutrition and food in our state!
FREE FOOD! The Food For All Coalition will be providing a free lunch, along with coffee and pastries during the morning social hour. Plus, we’ll have 10 special prizes raffled off at the event's conclusion! Don’t miss your chance to win fantastic prizes, engage with local lawmakers, and even enjoy an optional Capitol tour at the end!
Agenda for the day:
- 9:00 AM: Social hour with coffee, pastries, and mingling
- 10:00 AM: Welcome, introductions, and overview of food & nutritional policies and programs
- 11:00 AM: Presentation by Veterans Affairs on veteran hunger in the state
- 11:30 AM: Letter writing campaign
- 12:00 PM: Lunch
- 12:30 PM: Community sharing session
- 1:00 PM: Engaging with policymakers
- 2:00 PM: Raffle prizes
- 3:00 PM: Optional Capitol tour
