About this Event

The Waters of Your Life
The Waters of Your Life: A Water-Inspired Reiki & Sound Bath Experience

Sunday, September 20 | 4:00–5:30 PM
$33 per person | Limited space available

Water moves through seasons of stillness, flow, turbulence, and change—and so do we.

The Waters of Your Life is a 90-minute immersive experience inspired by our relationship with water and the ways water can support reflection, sensory awareness, rest, and connection.

What to Expect

We will begin by creating a symbolic “River of Your Life.” Each participant will receive a river stone and be invited to reflect on a meaningful memory or connection with water.

From there, we'll move through an experience inspired by the natural movement of water:

Source • Current • Rapids • Still Water • Confluence • Ocean

Through guided imagery, gentle somatic awareness, Reiki, intentional periods of silence, and an immersive sound bath, you'll be invited to notice your own relationship with movement, stillness, change, connection, and rest.

Crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, ocean drum, rain stick, gong, chimes, and other instruments may be incorporated to create an evolving soundscape inspired by water.

No previous experience with Reiki, meditation, or sound baths is necessary.

Your Take-Home Gift

Each participant will leave with a small water-inspired keepsake, including their river stone, as a reminder of the experience and an invitation to continue exploring their own connection with water.

Light Refreshments

Following the experience, you're invited to stay for light refreshments and a few moments to reconnect and integrate before heading home.

What to Bring

Please bring a yoga mat and anything you need to feel comfortable lying or sitting for an extended period, such as a blanket, pillow, bolster, eye covering, or water bottle.

Comfortable clothing is recommended.

Please Arrive on Time

Doors will close promptly when the experience begins. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.

The opening portion of the experience is intentional and helps establish a quiet, comfortable environment for the group. Entering once the guided portion or sound bath has begun can be disruptive to other participants.

Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in, set up your space, and settle in before we begin.

A Note About This Offering

This experience is being offered as part of my ongoing Ocean Therapy education and experiential training. Participants may be invited to provide brief feedback following the experience to support my learning and integration of these practices.

Participation in any reflection or sharing is always optional.

Sound Bath & Wellness Considerations

Sound baths can involve sustained tones, vibrations, and changes in volume. Please use your own judgment regarding participation and consult an appropriate healthcare professional if you have questions about whether a sound-based experience is suitable for you.

Please contact the facilitator before registering if you:

• Have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, particularly if sound may be a trigger
• Have significant sound sensitivity, tinnitus, migraines triggered by sound, or another condition affected by sustained sound or vibration
• Have an implanted medical device or other medical concern for which vibration may be relevant
• Are pregnant and have questions or concerns about participating
• Have recently undergone surgery or have another medical condition that may affect your comfort or safety during the experience

You are always welcome to sit farther away from the instruments, change positions, use ear protection, step outside, or discontinue participation at any time.

Reiki

Reiki is a complementary wellness practice intended to support relaxation and personal well-being. It is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.

Hands-on contact is not required to receive Reiki. Personal boundaries and preferences will always be respected.

Emotional & Reflective Considerations

Because this experience includes guided reflection on personal memories and your relationship with water, emotions or memories may arise unexpectedly.

You are never required to share personal information, participate in a particular exercise, or remain in an experience that feels uncomfortable. You are encouraged to honor your own needs throughout the session.

Please Note

This event is intended for general wellness, relaxation, reflection, and educational purposes. It does not constitute psychotherapy, medical treatment, diagnosis, or individualized healthcare.

By participating, you acknowledge that you are choosing to participate voluntarily and are responsible for honoring your individual physical and emotional needs.

Space is intentionally limited to create a comfortable and supportive group experience.

Come as you are.

Bring your stone to the river.

And take a little piece of the experience home with you.
