About this Event

Summer Last Exhale
Summer’s Last Exhale 🌅
A Late-Summer Sound Bath for Rest & Release

Before summer begins to give way to fall, take a moment to slow down.

Labor Day weekend can come with the pressure to squeeze in one more trip, one more gathering, or one more thing before summer ends. Summer’s Last Exhale offers something different—an invitation to pause, get comfortable, and experience the final stretch of summer at a gentler pace.

Join Choose You Therapy for an immersive sound bath centered around rest, release, and seasonal transition. Through guided meditation and the layered sounds and vibrations of crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes, ocean drum, and other therapeutic instruments, you'll be invited to settle your body, quiet some of the mental noise, and simply receive.

No previous experience with meditation or sound baths is necessary.

🌿 What to Expect

We’ll begin with a brief grounding and guided meditation inspired by the transition from late summer toward fall. From there, you’ll settle into an extended sound bath, allowing yourself time to rest without needing to accomplish, perform, or be anywhere else.

The experience will move through three simple intentions:

Savor. Release. Rest.

Following the sound bath, light refreshments and snacks will be provided. You’re invited to stay for a few moments, enjoy something to eat and drink, connect with others if you wish, and ease back into your day rather than immediately rushing to whatever comes next.

🧘 What to Bring

Please bring your own yoga mat and any comfortable items you would like for the sound bath, such as:

• Blanket
• Pillow or bolster
• Eye mask
• Cozy socks
• Water

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to fully relax.

⏰ Please Arrive Early

Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early. This will give you time to check in, choose your space, arrange your mat and comfort items, and begin settling before the experience starts.

To preserve a quiet and uninterrupted experience for everyone, late arrivals cannot be accommodated once the sound bath has begun.

⚠️ Sound Bath Considerations & Contraindications

Sound baths are generally considered a gentle wellness practice; however, sound and vibration may not be appropriate for everyone.

Please consult with your healthcare provider before participating if you:

• Have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, particularly if sound may be a trigger
• Have a pacemaker, implanted electronic medical device, or another condition that may be affected by vibration
• Are pregnant, particularly during the first trimester
• Experience significant sound sensitivity, tinnitus, or another condition that may be aggravated by sustained sound or vibration
• Have recently had surgery or have a medical condition for which prolonged lying down or exposure to vibration may not be recommended

You are encouraged to listen to your body throughout the experience. You are always welcome to adjust your position, sit up, or step out if needed.

Sound baths are a complementary wellness experience and are not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.

🌅 Give Yourself Permission to Slow Down

Summer doesn’t need to end in a rush.

Come exactly as you are. Put down the to-do list. Let yourself be still.

Savor what remains. Release what you no longer need. Rest before the season ahead.

Take one long, intentional exhale before stepping into September.
