The UCON Songwriting Camp (Harmony In Creation) at The Hyer

Creative Greensboro, Linda Greenwood and Unwind Communications Outreach Network presents, The Harmony in Creation Songwriting Workshop, a month-long community centered songwriting residency designed to make the creative process accessible, interactive, and inspiring. Taking place throughout the month of September at the Stephen D. Hyer Theater inside the Greensboro Cultural Center.

The workshop provides a welcoming space where participants from all backgrounds – whether experienced or complete beginners – come together to explore music-making through guided, collaborative sessions that culminate in a series of public performances in September.

A hands-on creative lab where attendees, once oriented*, are invited to engage in the workshop’s signature interactive songwriting experience where they observe, contribute and participate in the development of a brand-new original song.

The residency concludes with a public sharing session, where the community is invited to experience the outcome of the residency-a live performance and discussion of the workshop created songs on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 2 pm at the Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie Street, Greensboro, NC.

*All participants must attend an orientation session to participate in the songwriting workshops.
