About this Event
The Anglican Network of Intercultural Churches has established itself as a significant resource for the Church of England to advocate for racial justice, promote global cultural awareness, champion God’s great commission to all nations and to encourage rehearsals for heavenly worship.
The ANIC annual conference is a time to gather with other intercultural churches from across the UK to encourage, equip and build greater capacity for effective intercultural mission. The Third Annual ANIC Conference will encourage us to ask ‘how will we ‘make disciples of all nations’ in our different contexts?
KEY SPEAKERS AND FACILITATORS INCLUDES:
- The Rt Revd Lusa Nsenga Ngoy, Bishop of Willesden;
- The Rt Revd Saju Muthulaly, Bishop of Loughborough;
- Dr Krish Kandiah, broadcaster and speaker;
- Lara Deen, Intercultural Mission Enabler at St Paul’s, Slough;
- The Revd Ali Taylor, Intercultural Missioner, South Harrow;
- The Revd Canon Dr Catherine Okoronkwo, Residentiary Canon and Steward at St Paul's Cathedral, London.
CONFERENCE CHAIR
The Revd Canon Ned Lunn, Canon for Intercultural Mission and the Arts, Bradford Cathedral
This year we're hosting our gathering in Bradford, UK City of Culture!Over the last three years we have focussed a little on each of the four key priorities of ANIC:
Encouraging rehearsals for heavenly worship (2023)
Advocating for racial justice (2024)
Championing God’s great commission to all nations (2025)
Promoting global cultural awareness
This year, as we continue to explore all four we will be emphasising the championing of God's great commission to all nations.
