Bradford 2025 Big Advice Event

Is your organisation involved or interested in getting involved with Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture?

This event is for charities, social enterprises, arts and cultural organisations, schools and voluntary groups. And it is free to attend!

Our Big Advice event is here to help you get the most out of 2025. The event provides an oppurtunity to get specialist one-to-one advice and support from local businesses on a wide range of topics including: Marketing, Financial Management, HR, Strategy, and IT Support.

*Please note* that you must book your one-to-one advice sessions on the day when you enter the event, and these slots will be filled in a first-come-first-served basis. Every guest is limited to booking two slots per your organisation to make sure we have availability for as many people as possible, so please consider what your most pressing issues are before booking.

We are also offering free workshops at this event on:

• Fundraising and Income Generation during Bradford 2025
• How to Get Support from Local Businesses for Bradford 2025 Preparations and Events
• Creating Engaging Content on your Smartphone during Bradford 2025

Time: 12:30-16:00

Place: Manningham Mills Community Hub, Lister Mills, Lilycroft Road, Manningham BD9 5BD

Lunch will not be provided, but there is a community cafe in Manningham Mills Community Hub that will serve food until 2pm if you would like to arrive earlier or purchase food during the event.

As corporate volunteer partner for Bradford 2025, this event is also an opportunity to meet members of Participate team who are delivering business engagement with Bradford 2025. Could you benefit from Bradford 2025 volunteers?

And, if you're coming to the Big Advice event, why not stay for the VCSE Big Meet event running in Manningham Community Hub from 4pm onwards? Ran by Community Action Bradford & District, your first ticket is free, and they have a fantastic lineup of guest speakers who will guide you through a range of topics based around leadership in tough times. This is a great chance to network with other VCSE organisations, and they'll be providing food too!
