What does it mean to have, or not have, a room of one’s own?Taking its cue from the themes of Visions Are Seldom What They Seem, this panel discussion considers the room not only as a physical space, but as a psychological, social, and political condition. Grounded in Nicole Debono’s paintings, the conversation will reflect on how domestic interiors shape thought, behaviour, privacy, intimacy, and creative life.
Bringing together speakers from the creative, educational, and psychological spheres, the panel invites different perspectives on the ways spaces can hold, enable, or constrain us, and on how the room operates both as architecture and as interiority.
The panel discussion will take place within the exhibition space itself.
In conversation with Martina Camilleri, Umberto Buttigieg, Angele Galea, and Alex Weenink
Moderated by curator Rachelle Bezzina
The event is free to attend. It is intimate by design, reserving your spot is encouraged. Kindly fill in the registration form here: https://forms.gle/njKXHtCK2sp3gZzu6
