The Poetry Lounge - May

Hi, we're Katie and Phoebe and we've been hosting The Poetry Lounge since March 2022 (and we love it) - thanks so much for finding us!
The Poetry Lounge is held on the first Wednesday of the month in The Belle Starr Lounge at London's finest pub (The Boogaloo, 312 Archway Rd, Highgate, N6 5AT).

Our intention is, and has always been, to create a fun, safe, supportive environment in which to celebrate London's community of writers and spoken word performers and facilitate new work and connections. Whether you are a performer, friend or lover of all things literature we'd love you to be part of it! And if it's your first time performing anywhere, we will make sure you feel supported.

Saving the best 'til last, the final section of the evening will bear witness to London's first limerick slam. Expect fun, filth and everything in-between.
