Beginner Samba Dance Classes in London
🌟 Learn to Samba! Feel the Rhythm! Move with Confidence! 🌟
Join me for beginner-friendly classes designed to teach you the essential samba no pé steps, rhythms, and movements that make this Brazilian dance so exciting!
Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, these classes will help you build confidence, coordination, and your unique dance style.
Each class is from 7:35pm - 8:45pm, so 1hr 10mins, plenty of time to support you through your learning. Classes are held at Fitness First, The Strand.
Dates/themes of the classes for the next block of classes:
- 6 May - Samba basics and weight transfer
- 13 May - Afunda, Balanço, Caminhada
- 20 May - Trochadilho, and Turns
- 27 May - No class due to half term with my kids
- 3 June - Travelling, stamina and drills
- 10 June - Samba styling with Leila (teacher cover with @ilaleiladance)
- 17 June - How to freestyle in samba
- 24 June - Paradinhas - what are they? how to practice?

About me
I'm a certified Level 2 Exercise to Music professional with a passion for dance, movement, and joyful self-expression. I currently teach dynamic dance wellness classes, including twerk-inspired fitness and, of course, samba, my greatest passion.
Samba has completely transformed my mind, body, and soul, and my mission is to help others experience that same joy, confidence, and freedom through movement.
While I initially learned samba online, I have since trained with top samba masters across the UK, Germany, and Brazil, deepening my knowledge of its rhythm, technique, and rich cultural roots.
With me, you’ll learn more than just the steps—you’ll discover how each movement is a celebration, each jiggle a declaration of joy. Together, we’ll embrace the energy of Brazilian rhythms, turning every dance session into an exhilarating, uplifting experience.
