The Plymouth Approach
About this Event
The Plymouth Approach is a warm, welcoming session bringing together colleagues from across the partnership for a clear and accessible overview of how we collectively support children, young people and families across the city.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals from education, health, social care, early years, police, and wider partners to come together for a friendly ‘whistle-stop tour’ of the key processes, pathways and partnerships that make up our One Children’s Service system.
We’ll explore how different areas connect and work together, including:
· Education systems and support
· Social care pathways and practice
· Front Door and early help access
· Section 19 arrangements
· Virtual School
· Fair Access Protocol (FAP)
· Fostering and placements
· And much more…
Whether you’re new to Plymouth, new to your role, or simply want to strengthen your understanding of the wider system, this session will help build confidence, clarity and stronger multi-agency relationships.
Come along to meet colleagues from across the partnership, share perspectives, and deepen our collective understanding of The Plymouth Approach - working together to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families.
