About this Event

Morning Session with Carmelle Gentle

We’ll begin the day with an engaging session led by Carmelle Gentle, exploring the bigger picture around tongue tie and oral function.

Carmelle will explore what a tongue tie actually is, what we can do when families choose not to pursue division, and how we can support families using evidence-based, whole-body approaches. We’ll consider how this knowledge can be brought back into our own practice to help us support families with greater confidence and a broader range of options.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and explore ideas during a dedicated Q&A session, before we break for lunch.

Afternoon Practical Workshop

For those booked onto the afternoon workshop, we’ll move from theory into practice.

In this smaller, more intimate group, Carmelle will lead bodywork and feeding demonstrations with real families, giving attendees the opportunity to see the concepts explored in the morning brought to life.

The smaller group size allows for greater depth, discussion and learning, with the practical element helping to cement understanding and translate new knowledge into everyday clinical practice.
