Topics that are sensitive. Topics that people avoid. Topics that are stigmatized.
YOUR Mental Health.
With the increased stress in our world, long hours at work, balancing time with your children and family, the loss of a loved one, loss of a job, loss of an opportunity, an end of an important relationship, facing depression, riddled with anxiety, struggling with neurodivergence to experiencing poverty, becoming unhoused or having a mental health crisis...
You're going through A LOT and WE want you to have access to local resources to have a better understanding about mental health.
It is an invaluable tool to understand mental health and how it affects you and your family, but also what YOU can do to help others in need.
It's time to end the stigma and come together to support each other!
✨✨✨Our focus is on PLUR. BUT what is PLUR?
"PLUR", popular in the EDM (Electronic Dance Music) community, is the practice of P (Peace), L (Love), U (Unity) and R (Respect) for ALL people and living things… some include an additional "R", for Responsibility and that includes yourself (which we know... that's the hardest to do).
We want to provide you with a space where you and your family can listen to amazing local musicians, meet other likeminded community members, gain more knowledge of available mental health services in the area, provide kids with an opportunity to play and participate in a variety of mental health or self-confidence building activities, provide you with an opportunity for adult mindfulness and grounding activities and then last but NOT LEAST and MAYBE the MOST healing of all… a FUN FILLED NIGHT loaded with DANCE, LIGHTS and TALENTED LOCAL DJs!
✨3:30 PM-6:30 PM: Local Musicians, Mental Health Practitioners, Clinics/Organizations, Alternative/Holistic Practitioners and other organizations will be present with not only fun and mental health benefiting activities for you and kiddos, but also wonderful information on Mental Health Resources in our area!
✨6:30 PM -11:30 PM: DJs, FLOW and DANCE!
Come join the fun! What a great way to meet new people, listen to amazing musicians, check out the EDM scene AND learn some extremely important information!
