💛 We are excited to invite you to The Origin Story, a special evening hosted by YEU Cyprus to explore creative practices for social inclusion, and revisit two decades of impactful youth work by marking the 20th anniversary of YEU Cyprus!
💛 Get ready for a unique workshop, a networking opportunity, and a chance to explore the achievements & results of the Erasmus+ partnership of the 'Superheroes' project. Join us to enjoy good music, and let's learn and celebrate together. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
The Origin Story agenda:
🔹17:00-18:00 Workshop with mixed-ability collective Koullou Makka: Join this workshop which invites everyone of all abilities to share the space for as long as they wish, following their own pace, either observing or participating in an open, continuous flow of questions. Embracing the concept of crip-time, we will engage in non-linear rhythms that make space for different temporalities and ways of being. With ongoing questions, we aim to democratically activate the space and promote ways of communicating that transcends the boundaries of conventional conversation. Through this continuous questioning, we seek to claim a shared horizon - a 'non-existent' space, shaped by collective exploration beyond traditional temporal constraints.
🔹18:00-21:00 Networking & Anniversary Celebration: Let’s explore the evolution of youth work through the milestones of YEU Cyprus and take a look into good practices of social inclusion through the accomplishments of the Superheroes project. The event will be an opportunity to connect with people working in the fields of youth work, non-formal education, arts and active in civil society.
