About this Event

The Nuture Network is a series of events co-created by local female founder, Leah Halliday and community organisation Midsteeple Quarter. We hope to create a warm, welcoming space for women in business across Dumfries & Galloway to build community and connection. Whether you're just starting out or years into your journey, we would love you to join us.
This month we'll be joined by Darby Stewart for a practical session on newsletters and mailing lists.
Are you looking for another way to connect with your customers beyond social media? Perhaps your audience isn't spending much time there, or maybe you already have a mailing list but want to make more of it.
Newletters can be a great way to build stronger relationships with your customers and share your news, products and offers directly with the people who have chosen to hear from you. In this practical session, Darby will cover how to start and grow a mailing list, what to send, how to create newsletters people want to read, and simple automated flows that can help you stay connected consistently.
Schedule:
6pm - Arrival & refreshments
6:15 - Guided networking activity
6:45 - Comfort break
6:50 - Workshop with Darby Stewart
7:45 - Closing circle
8pm - Official finish with the opportunity to stay and chat until 8:30pm
Venue:
The Green Room at The Standard, 139 High Street, Dumfries. Access to this space from the High Street is via The Standard Close

The venue has step-free access, an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities, and nearby parking is available at Irish Street Car Park, including Blue Badge spaces.
