A two morning immersive study in Festina Lente Gardens - guided by Irish Botanical Artist, Patricia Morrison.
Saturday 15th November and Sunday 16th November, 10.00am - 1pm each day

Learn to observe/draw and paint your favourite Autumnal colours from the beautiful walled gardens at Festina Lente, Bray. Botanical artist Patricia Morrison will guide you through the process, with demonstrations, advice and personal materials list along the way. Capture the rich, fleeting beauty of the autumn season in this evocative watercolour workshop. As nature prepares for winter, it offers a stunning display of colour and texture – from the golden hues of fallen leaves to the vibrant reds of ripe berries, the intricate details of dried seedheads, and the graceful curves of fruit-laden branches.
· Connect with your selected seasonal plants– and end up with your very own watercoloured painting to take home
· Explore the practice of observing in detail the characteristics of flowers, shrubs, trees and plants in the beautiful walled garden at Festina Lente and then enjoy creating a study in pencil and/or watercolour !
· Demonstration and guidance on techniques of drawing, illustration, painting, mounting, framing, and plant identification
· Materials supplied and refreshments provided
