As the nights lengthen and the earth turns inward, we call upon the "Mother of Herbs" to guide our transition into the dark half of the year.
Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) is one of the most storied plants in our native landscape. Known as a protector of travelers and a bridge to the dream world, it is the perfect ally for the introspective months of winter.
In this workshop, we gather as the autumn chill sets in to explore the silver-leaved magic of Mugwort and prepare our spirits for a season of rest.
In this session, we will explore:
- The Silver Queen: Learn to identify and ethically harvest native Mugwort, focusing on the potent roots and dried aerial parts used in late autumn.
- Winter Wellness: Beyond dreams, Mugwort is a bitter tonic. We’ll discuss its medicinal benefits for digestion, circulation, and warming the body during the cold months.
- The Ritual of the Tincture: Together, we will craft a "Dreamtime Tincture." You will learn the folk method of extraction to create a potent liquid tool designed to enhance dream recall, deepen sleep, and provide spiritual support through the winter solstice.
Leave the modern world behind for a morning of herbal lore, hands-on crafting, and the quiet wisdom of the plants.
