Discover the ancient wisdom and symbolism of the Elder Futhark in this hands-on introduction to rune divination. Whether you're completely new to runes or looking to deepen your existing practice, this class will explore how these powerful symbols can be used for guidance, self-reflection, spiritual insight, and divination.
During this two-hour workshop, you'll learn the history and evolution of the runes, the meanings behind the 24 Elder Futhark symbols, and practical techniques for incorporating runes into your spiritual practice. Explore several methods of rune reading, including drawing runes from a pouch, casting runes for broader insight, and combining runes with tarot or oracle cards to add depth and clarity to your readings.
Ashwani teaches the Magic of Runes, also known as Elder Futhark, in several different ways for the times. She will give examples using it as a stand-alone divination tool, adding runes to your tarot or oracle readings that can enhance messages, and making an ancient technique new again.
Participants will have the opportunity to practice interpreting runes through guided exercises, personal readings, and partner activities designed to build confidence and intuition. You'll also learn about traditional rune materials and how you can create your own personalized rune set.
Whether you seek spiritual guidance, a new divination system, or a deeper connection to ancient symbolism, this class offers a fun and interactive way to begin working with runes.
If you already own a rune set, feel free to bring it with you. Rune sets will also be available for purchase in the shop!
