Join author Charlie Bingham for this nature based Creative Writing Workshop, where you’ll learn to use all your senses (except taste) to connect with the natural world around you. You’ll then turn your observations into a short piece of creative writing, focusing on description beyond sight.

This workshop will inspire you to notice the brilliant, magical details of nature and encourage you to discover new wonders wherever you are, whether in the city or the countryside.

Learning outcome: Descriptive writing development

In this first session we will talk about how we usually experience nature when we are out and about. We will discuss our senses and consider the ways we could enhance our experience in nature by thinking about more than meets the eye!
