THE KIRKS MANSION STYLED SHOOT
Ten stations. Ten creators. One full day of intentional, portfolio-building content.
The Kirks Mansion Styled Shoot is designed for photographers, videographers, and content creators who want access to fully developed editorial scenes without spending the day shooting over someone else’s shoulder.
Attendance is capped at just ten participants.
Each participant will rotate through all ten stations, with one creator assigned to each station at a time. Every rotation includes dedicated shooting time, allowing you to direct, experiment, and capture the content you actually came for.
No crowds around one couple. No racing for the same angle. No paying for a styled shoot only to leave with 300 versions of the back of another photographer’s head.
THE TEN STATIONS
- FALL CEREMONY
A meadow-inspired ceremony beneath the oaks with seasonal blooms, textural grasses, warm autumn tones, natural wood seating, and restrained heirloom details.
- FRONT OF THE MANSION - EDITORIAL
The Gothic Revival façade, brick pathway, front steps, arched windows, lamp post, and live oaks create a dramatic architectural setting with minimal styling needed.
- LOWCOUNTRY COCKTAIL HOUR
An elevated lawn party beneath the oaks featuring crisp whites, soft blues, natural textures, styled food and drinks, coastal details, and relaxed Southern hospitality.
- WINTER AND HOLIDAY RECEPTION
A formal reception scene with deep red, hunter green, and gold, dramatic tablescapes, candlelight, celebratory drinks, and polished holiday details.
- CITRUS BRUNCH, TEA, AND BRIDAL SHOWER
A bright poolside setting with citrus, florals, vintage china, mimosas, tea service, brunch details, and fresh spring-inspired color.
- BRIDAL GETTING READY
An intimate bridal suite experience with a bride, wedding details, an ornate mirror, Gothic windows, and naturally lit editorial opportunities.
- INTERIOR EDITORIAL
Creative access to the Mansion’s foyer, curved staircase, baby grand piano, parlor, billiards room, and sunroom - each offering a completely different mood and lighting environment.
- LAGOON AND ENGAGEMENT/COUPLE SESSION
A relaxed engagement-style station near the lagoon with water, live oaks, Lowcountry scenery, and an editorial lifestyle approach.
- ROAMING DETAILS
A curated collection of invitation pieces, rings, accessories, florals, vow books, fabric, and styling elements that can be photographed throughout the property wherever the light is best.
- GROOM AND GENTLEMEN GETTING READY
A dark, dramatic interior station featuring Gothic architecture, formalwear, styled accessories, and editorial portraits that go well beyond the standard groomsmen lineup.
EDUCATION WITH MEREDITH RYNCARZ
During lunch, photographer and educator Meredith Ryncarz will lead an educational session designed for photographers.
The styled stations are open to photographers, videographers, and content creators. Educational content will be primarily photography-focused.

Tickets are $299 per participant.
Attendance is strictly limited to ten photographers, videographers, or content creators.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring your preferred camera or content-creation equipment, fully charged batteries, memory cards, and anything else you need to create comfortably throughout the day. Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended, as stations will be located throughout the Mansion and grounds.
Personal drone use is not permitted.
FINAL CREATIVE DETAILS
Specific florals, attire, models, food displays, rentals, and participating creative partners may evolve as the final designs are completed. The overall station concepts and dedicated rotation format will remain consistent.
This experience is being built to fill real portfolio gaps - not simply create ten variations of the same wedding scene.
