About this Event
This sonic experience will carry you to a state of clarity.
We’ll begin with a 15-minute breathwork session from 7:30 PM to 7:45 PM, guiding you to release tension and ease into a relaxed state. Afterward, participants be bathed head to toe in sound—a hypnotic, ethereal experience designed to lead you into deep relaxation. The soundscape will include 38" Paiste gongs, binaural beat crystal bowls, Native American flute, monochord, vibraphone, and more, creating a soothing and inspiring concert.
Our night will also feature Tibetan bowls, rain sticks, ocean drums, and other beautiful chimes to complete the experience.
Logistics—
Dress warmly, and bring a yoga mat, a pillow and blanket for maximum comfort. Arrive between 6:45 PM and 7:15 PM to set up your space, stretch out, and settle in. The more comfortable you are, the deeper the experience.
What is Sound Meditation?
Sound Meditation (or ‘sound healing’) is a practice of listening to soothing sounds to reach states of clarity and deep relaxation. It opens up meditative states often unreachable without considerable effort. You will leave with a clear mind and a deeper appreciation for the wonder of sound. We strongly recommend this experience for people who have trouble meditating, or feel like they just "can't get there." Give it a try.
Sound Meditation Presents
Founded by the same team that brought you 'The Sound Healing Symphony' at Grace Cathedral and 'Sound Meditation at the Conservatory of Flowers,' we’ve been featured in NBC Today, SF Chronicle, CBS News, and more. Our mission is to popularize the practice of intentional relaxation and sound baths in our community.
