Join us at the Honey Alexander Center for an insightful panel discussion on the history of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the United States and its specific effects on the wellness of Black women. Learn about the challenges faced, the progress made, and the work that still needs to be done.

The COVID pandemic and the Racial Reckoning of 2020 inspired DEI initiatives nationwide. As a result, Black women have been disproportionately saddled with the responsibility of leading DEI efforts in the workplace. This has added to the already prevalent amount of workplace stress and burnout that negatively impacts Black women's health and well-being. Join panelists Tanisha Wilson, Christy Pruitt-Haynes, Amiee Sadler & Cynthia Harris as they share their perspectives on how DEI has impacted their professional journeys and personal wellness.
